This fast and sleek billycart is owned and raced by Philip McGrath.

All billycart enthusiasts should take note of the aerodynamic construction and wheel size as it played a key role in its success at Bathurst in August 2008.

According to official results Aus.E.Oi clocked a time of one minute and 03.28 seconds which therefore resulted in a win of first place.

Since then I have had no information on how it is performing at other events.

I first saw this billycart at the Victorian Billycart Championships at Pyalong in March 2008 however I never took a picture of it.

As a result I made sure of it at Bathurst and can inform you that Michael Treloar is behind the wheel in all of the snapshots.

Whispering Assassin

 "Whispering Assassin" certainly lives up to its name having just watched it in action for the first time at Bathurst.

Owner Ross Osborn put himself into the spotlight by clocking the second fastest time of 1 minute 13.47 seconds.

Dennis and Anne Louise Gooley also had a run or two at Bathurst.

This fast and sleek billycart was raced and shared at Bathurst by Glen and Russell Nankervis as well as Alexander Kitchen.

All faired well with Glen Nankervis taking out third place in this class.

I first saw this billycart at an event in Castlemaine, Victoria in 2003 where it showed plenty of speed.

Five years on nothing has changed other than some new faces behind the wheel.

10th Annual - Lions Billycart Derby at the Technopark, 22nd April 2007

As shown this photo was taken in front of gates of the Tasmanian Technopark in Goodwood, Tasmania.

On the left is Boyd Sweeney in Blue Bottle and on the right is Scotty Wyman who eventually won the race.

He was awarded the title as the Supercart Class Champion for his efforts on the day.
